Many of our struggles today are rooted in our responses to yesterday's wounds. These wounds cannot just be erased by efforts of good behavior, but their effects upon us can be stopped by the power of the Cross, where we can identify and bring these roots to Christ and truly be free.

Do you feel blocked in any areas of your life? No matter what you try, the same thing happens to you again and again, as if you're caught in a cycle? Do you feel like you attract the very situations you want to avoid, or that your worst expectations are often fulfilled?

Healing Hearts through the Elijah House style of ministry, helps facilitate the sanctification process in a person's life. This is done through pastoral prayer by following the lead of the Holy Spirit. Whether we come from a nurturing, or physically abusive, sexually abusive or neglectful home, we all have ways we've not "let go of our past" or "let go of our childish" behavior or attitudes. As God facilitates sanctification in our life, we are then able to grow and walk in maturity.

I would wholly recommend Lois as a prayer minister.

I first heard about Elijah House Ministries from my then boyfriend, now husband. He had recently been through the 201 school and was greatly impacted by receiving the ministry and becoming a prayer minister. In the months that we dated and were engaged, I went to prayer ministry each Tuesday. I changed completely in those 9 months and was able to enter in marriage as a more whole, more freer to be me. When we were first married I took the 201 class and shortly after became a prayer minister. Soon after, we took the 202 class together. In the years following, we have had the chance to facilitate schools and help do lots of prayer ministry. We've seen God impact us, change us, heal us AND impact, change, and heal several others through this ministry. Lois and Healing Hearts has been our closest partnership with Elijah House since she moved back to MN in 2011. My husband and I have gone to her for prayer ministry several times and have had the chance to help facilitate classes with her as well as to attend some of her seminars. I would wholly recommend Lois as a prayer minister. She has played a significant role in my healing and I look more like Christ today because of some of the things she's walked me through.  -Julie

These sessions have been one of the most spiritually transforming experiences of my life.

Quite simply, without the changes God did in me through prayer counseling with Lois, I’m unsure if I’d be alive.

Let me back up… Through sessions with Lois, God revealed lies that were at the root of my “messed up-ness.” Those lies impacted my faith, and therefore, how I processed life events—how I saw myself, God, and others. Through partnering with Lois and God in sessions, God removed my blinders, so I could see how I’d judged others, myself, or even God for various grievances that mattered a lot to me. Those judgments I’d knowingly or unknowingly made, were largely what kept me stuck in life! Being empowered by God to see the raw truth is painful, but healing. God is gentle and doesn’t leave you in the pain.

These sessions have been one of the most spiritually transforming experiences of my life. Next to deciding to let God be the leader of my life and time abroad doing missions work, this might be next on the list. It has bolstered my faith in incredible ways! I gained immense freedom through the process! As a result, I referred friends and family to Lois as well. All of them have had a positive experience. We’re all healthier people and Christ followers as an outcome.

Back to where I started, if it wasn’t for Lois’ experience which has taught her to listen, pay attention to, and pray about even little, seemingly unimportant side comments people make, she wouldn’t have said one more prayer as I was about to leave one day. That prayer broke whatever negative power had been in my life from age 8 to my late 30’s. No longer was I drawn to knives or tempted to harm myself with them. God did the healing; Lois was just available and willing to be used by God as an instrument to healing. That is just one of many mini-miracle moments of being set free of things that held me back.

May you also find healing, because when it comes, you’ll be freed up to do more of what God intended you to do and be more of who He intended you to be. Fixing your faith matters.  -Beth

She offered a safe, loving environment with freedom resulting!

I value prayer ministry. I have been to many different counselors over the years including ones with many degrees and credentials. Lois did for me what they did not (or could not). She offered a safe, loving environment with freedom resulting! I can testify that her ministry is safe, genuine and produces fruit!

I have attended her classes and received personal ministry, both have resulted in freedom and excitement for more!

I have seen the fruit of her ministry personally and in the lives of my children. I recommend her highly. I believe you will not be disappointed.

Lois has a deep intimacy with the Father that flows in and through her being and thus her ministry.

To those interested in heart healing ministry: I cannot begin to explain how wonderful and life-changing my experiences in inner heart healing have been, and am so grateful God connected me with Lois. I had previously done a couple inner healing sessions at my church and both brought immense change into my life for the better (NOTE: I believe until we die, we will always have things in us that God wants to make better, that is-we will not be perfect (like Jesus) this side of Heaven, and so I think regular -yearly- times to get with God and work on things are vital).

When someone I trust recommended I see Lois for inner healing, I decided to go. I did not intend to see Lois multiple times, but one thing led to another and as there was fruit that came from working through my issues with her, it was as if God was saying it is ok for this season to keep going back. Lois makes it incredibly safe to share your heart, and asks amazingly insightful questions that led to breakthrough. I went several times over the last few years and each was a truly wonderful time to listen to Holy Spirit, forgive myself and others for past sins, and walk out lighter - freer. And FREEDOM FEELS GOOD. God has abundant life for us and we are not meant to live in the weight of our past, or that of others. We can learn and grow from our past - but should not let it define us.

Indeed, Lois has a deep intimacy with the Father that flows in and through her being and thus her ministry, and I am forever grateful - in particular, I was blessed to learn in her living room and learned God actually cares about what I want...I was truly struggling with a huge decision in my life, and via Lois/Holy Spirit and talking/praying, I came to a sense of peace that lead to, again, FREEDOM.
